Who's Keeping Score?

I am.

It all began on May 20th, 2010 when I first was induced to have HP. Then a day later when I had the little boy. Then the following week where I suffered through a nausea inducing spinal headache. And the three months of insessent feedings.

Honestly, how can a mother not  keep score. I am literally up a million points. Jon could be SuperDad (and he totally is) and I'd still be way ahead in Baby points. How can a guy catch up?

See, I've been pondering this and I've come up with a win-win. I'm thinking that Jon could do nighttime Bear duty for the next 4 or so months and we might, might break even. So, I think I'll type up this proposal and see if we can't get that signed today...

Nope laura! Jon will never catch up. I mean almost-one night sleep is sooo different from newborn sleep. You will always win because no matter what. You forgot to add the 9 months of pregnancy, and honestly labor.... well that is a life time of winner status.

I know I will never catch-up with my wife. She knows that, I know that, and Bridget knows that.

i totally keep score, too! my husband does so much, but he'll never match my parenting points. really, we shouldn't keep score, but there's no stopping my fairness-seeking brain!
